HEALTHY SOIL - PHYTOSANITARY BASIS OF NON-PESTICIDE CROP PRODUCTION

The environmental functions of healthy soil - an integral component of pesticide less agro-ecosystems are under consideration. The indicators for quantitatively assess the soil health state are proposed. They take into account: the content of harmful and phytotoxic substances, pathogens and pathogenic biological agents in the soil, the degree of its biogeochemical and self-cleaning soil functions. The principles and techniques are summarized to manage the soil health in situ by organic farming systems - a special kind of farming, providing environmentally friendly products with soil dehumification prevention.

TYPES OF INHERITANCE AGRONOMIC CHARACTERS OF F1 HYBRIDS SPRING BARLEY IN THE AMUR REGION

The article presents the results of analysis of the degree of phenotypic dominance of spring barley hybrids of the first generation. Experience was founded on the basis of the research laboratory breeding of crops VPO Far Eastern State Agrarian University (Blagoveshchensk) in 2013-2014. F 1 hybrids were sown by hand in rows 0.9 m long; as standard were parental forms. Harvesting is done by hand (with the root system). Biometric analysis was performed in the laboratory. Most of us studied hybrids heterosis appears simultaneously on two grounds 2; two hybrid combinations at this stage can be attributed to not very promising from the economic point of view, as they have the inheritance of agronomic traits of F 1 hybrids passed by the type of depression (which Alexis х Talovskiy 9 and Simon x South). Only one hybrid surpassed their parental forms at the same time on a 5-featured - Alexis х Simon, what it says about the value and necessity of careful further study.

IMPROVING THE MECHANISM OF INFORMATION AND ADVISORY SERVICES FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS OF THE OREL REGION

In article the main problems of development of an informational and consulting upkeep of agricultural producers in the Orel region are proved. Measures of the state support taking into account restrictions of the WTO are defined. The special attention is paid to criteria of an assessment of producers and consultants at selection of the state support. It is proved that regional financial means for support of development of an informational and consulting upkeep of the village need to be allocated in the following two directions: grant support of creation of the innovative consulting organizations; subsidizing of costs of innovative consultations. Also the offered organizational structure of management of agrarian and industrial complex of the Orel region and stages of support of development of informational and consulting providing agriculture are presented in article.

GROWTH RATE AND DOUBLING TIME OF YAM AND CASSAVA PRODUCTION IN NIGERIA

The growth rate and doubling time of yam and cassava output, yield and acreage was investigated from data obtained from a secondary source and analyzed using the exponential and quadratic function in trend variable. The study revealed the growth rate during the period under consideration, there were growth as well as retardation, and it also shows acceleration, stagnation and deceleration at different sub-periods for the variables. Average growth rate of 6.7% for yam hectares, 0.03% for yam yield and 7.2% for yam output, translating into doubling time of 10 years for yam hectare, -0.8 year for yam yield and 62 years for yam output were estimated. The average rate of growth for cassava hectare was 11.1%, -0.498% for cassava yield and 8.5% for output. This translates to doubling time of 1 year for cassava hectare,-0.5 year for cassava yield and 14 years for output. This study also revealed that the growth rates of yam and cassava production over the years have more of stagnation than acceleration and deceleration based on the changes in the macroeconomic policy of the country, which implies that planning of the macroeconomic policies were not better than the previous ones. It therefore, indicates that, although there has been some level of increase in some of the sub-periods, the policy presentation for yam and cassava did not in any way translate to sustained increase.

In dairy cattle breeding considerably decreased the number of animals, total milk production and the profitability of the industry as a whole through the past ten years. One of the important conditions of increasing the profitability of cattle breeding is to improve the reproductive ability of cows, as through the use organizational measures, alike and genetic methods. In the article introduced results of the analysis of influence of level of milk production and lactation activity on the indices of reproductive ability of cows: the parturition interval and the service periods.
